The Best of Its Kind

I tried this App for a month. Meanwhile, I also installed Monny, Fortune City, Planto, and Money Tracker for comparison. Compared to the other four apps of similar function, I found this is the best for me — simple, straightforward, easy to use and has most of the the basic functions I need — no need to share too much personal financial information and no need to spend time on playing games or other redundant elements. Finally, I decided to settle on this one and uninstalled the others. Also, to show my support and appreciation for the developer’s great work, I paid to remove the ads (which are actually not very disturbing and can be easily ignored while using the app).

Apart from above, I do agree with the other users’ suggestions on possible improvement to make, such as enabling multiple currencies and subcategories : )

In the end, I would say: Good job! Thanks for the great work! And hope the app will evolves into an even better version!

One-year Review

This app helps me build up a habit of managing expense and income. This app stands out among other budget app because it avoids over-disclosure of personal data and finance record.

In a year of daily finance recording, I have summed up several points of suggestions for improvement. Three points are stated as follows:

1. Allow find and replace of data: memo allows inputing details of each record (e.g. merchant, buying item, etc). However, some similar input records are not standard in terms of the language, expression, etc. Also, it’s time-consuming to revise each record when there are hundreds of records accumulated in a year. So, it’s suggested to allow find and replace of data to revise and standardise the data.

2. Allow syncing between app and csv file: I think it is one of the efficient solutions to monitor and revise large number of records.

3. Allow account with separate currency: I think it would be a good news for travelers. It is definitely convenient for the travelers to record overseas expense and income in different currencies. I hope this function will come soon.

Great app to use for daily and travel use

I’ve been using this app for years, I jumped to other apps a few times and always came back to it. It does take some time to set up but once you’re done it’s wonderful and so easy to use. I love that the UI is simplistic and easy to use, you won’t feel bothered by the app banner at all. Traveling is also easy as you can set multiple journals in different currencies. Great app and I high recommend it.
