Everytime received big sales alerts fr agoda, I don’t believe it!!!!

Definitely true! This time I really need to book a hotel, I switch fr different channels for comparing prices for the same hotel, ranging fr my prestige credit card offer (declaring 15% off), combined hotels providers (12% off) to agoda app (some discounts) directly, the final prices are more the less the same!

What’s the point popping up sales alert?! Annoying in fact!

The worst and irresponsible OTA I have ever met

I had a very bad experience for hotel with Agoda. The hotel is really dirty and the attitude of the host is very bad and he even gave me the wrong room which is super downgraded from my booked room. This is really annoying and I have handled this issue for over half of my trip and wasted me lots of time without any solution from Agoda nor the motel. This is not acceptable that either the hotel or Agoda are taking any responsibility. Both of them have charged me a price especially Agoda is charged me the difference of the hotel room, but no service or solution are from Agoda. I really don't know why I need to book via Agoda then as they didn't secured my booking and just having alignment with the hotel. I personally do not recommend to book this hotel or even using the Agoda as they are not helping at all for any issue when it is happening.

COVID is non-refundable

I usually use Agoda to book hotel room in these few years and become platinum VIP member. However, I am very disappointed and sad due to their non-refundable policy. I booked 2 hotel room in Macau through Agoda for family trip, but unluckily 2 family members including me infected covid before the trip date, so we can only cancel the trip with no choice.
I have contacted the hotel directly to ask for a refund and the hotel replied that they are willing to make the refund but as the booking is through Agoda, so hotel suggest me to seek Agoda assistance to handle the case.
I have uploaded the evidence of doctor advice and request for a refund. Agoda only reply due to their what kind of policy, refund is not allowed.
How can I go to Macau if I am suffering from covid? Agoda, Please read the guideline from Chinese government and get out from china market!
