Bayan is the official companion app for the Saudi General Authority of Foreign Trade and its accredited commercial offices abroad. It brings every ASEAN trade profile the Authority cares about, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Brunei, and the Philippines, into a single secure place, alongside the documents, reports, and field notes you rely on every day.
Designed for Commercial Attachés, Senior Trade Officers, Trade Analysts, and Directors, Bayan replaces scattered folders, inboxes, and drives with one focused workspace that travels with you between postings, meetings, and missions.
Key features
• ASEAN trade intelligence: curated country profiles for the seven ASEAN markets the Authority prioritises, refreshed from the backend on every launch.
• Shared documents workspace: official PDFs, DOCX, and XLSX files organised per country and visible to every approved member of your office.
• Reports and field notes: capture meeting notes, flag priorities, and produce reports without leaving the app.
• Secure by default: Sign in with Apple, Face ID or Touch ID, auto-lock, and TLS transport to the backend.
• Built for how you work: pick your role during onboarding and the home dashboard adjusts accordingly.
• English and Arabic: full right-to-left support for Arabic alongside English.
• Light and dark themes: tuned for long sessions in the office or on the road.
Access and approval
Bayan is provided exclusively to authorised personnel of the Saudi Commercial Attaché and accredited commercial offices. New accounts remain locked until an administrator of the Authority approves them. Some country profiles are restricted and only accessible to specifically approved accounts.
Privacy and security
Authentication is handled by Sign in with Apple. Bayan does not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or third-party trackers. All backend traffic runs over TLS to Supabase. Your notes, documents, and profile data are stored on the Authority’s Supabase project and retained for official record-keeping.
