El Club Deportivo Michelin (CDM) se construyó en los años 80 como iniciativa de la empresa Michelin en Valladolid para dar respuesta a la demanda creciente de espacios de ocio y salud. Hoy es una asociación privada, sin ánimo de lucro, cuyos fines principales son el desarrollo físico-deportivo de sus socios, así como fomentar las actividades culturales entre ellos.
