Started tackling Decrypto’s approachability with a brief, beautiful onboarding that captures the goal, method, and idea behind the game.

Tweaked the UI and icon so they feel right at home when you update to iOS 26.

Added a new level. To solve it, you need to look beyond the distractions. Every piece and interaction is the way it is for a reason.

- Navigation is now visible by default. As always, if that’s not to your taste, you can change it in the settings - For the one person playing music while solving Morse levels: you’ll now enjoy a much smoother experience

It got a little cloudy, so I had to add two new levels to maintain the balance.

Rewrote the Morse audio engine to reduce latency and improve compatibility with Bluetooth headphones. Also made some small tweaks here and there to enhance the overall experience.

Felt like experimenting with 3D, which led to a new simple 3D level. Also rewrote some core components (as you do) for a smoother and more maintainable experience.

Accessibility is something I used to take for granted and didn’t think much about in everyday life. I have to admit, I didn’t consider it at all when I first developed Decrypto. That’s probably because I haven’t personally faced accessibility challenges, a kind of comfort I didn’t fully realize I had until much later. With this ten-year Decrypto rewrite, I had something different in mind. One of my main goals was to make Decrypto more accessible to more people. This release includes full VoiceOver support. All levels, hints, and explanations have been transcribed. Navigation and other parts of the experience have also been reworked to be much more compatible with screen readers. While I’ve done my best to simulate and test everything thoroughly, I would really love to hear from people who use these technologies in their daily lives. Let me know about any pain points, bugs, or suggestions through the Feedback form in the game settings.

Added the ability to subscribe to new level notifications. You are opted out by default, so if you’re keen to be the first to try new levels, open Decrypto, swipe right to reveal Settings, and enable the notifications toggle next to level selection.

Added one of the most requested features: the scratchpad. Yes, it’s specifically designed for those awkward moments when you’re flying without a piece of paper handy and ciphers get out of hand. What’s even better is that each note is saved per level, so you can revisit your brilliant and chaotic scribbles anytime.
