I bought this printer for a friend

And HP makes it very hard when one needs to not only down load the software etc but are then required to open an opening an account when I'm simply trying to test the software for someone else!

Frustrating! And not good cusotmer service

Login to HP website

I don't find the login feature of HP scanner useful for my scanning needs. In my office, I only use the scan or copy function and have no use for the login feature on the HP website. Additionally, I would like the option to set a password of my choice and would appreciate some clarification on this matter. If these options are not available, I would like to cancel the login feature and switch to a different brand of scanner.

Bad user experience

It has been asking me to login with HP account every morning. If the loading speed was faster, it might be fine, but reality is I have been spending at least 3 mins to go through the login adn initialise process every morning...otherwise i won't be able to scan a paper... I don't get it.... I didn't see any needs that you forces users to login before scanning a paper to a local drive. Long story short, please consider allowing users to use your application without an account when they don't even need to use your online services.
