Bad update

Do not update if you can avoid it. The updated version places the clock and pencil up too high, blocking part of the board. I’ve written in about this but gotten no response. It’s really too bad, because I very much like the app, or at least the old version of it.

Fine (unless one plays fast)

The app is fine for casual slow play. However, it employs some cute animations when a square, row, or column is completed, and while the animation runs, one cannot choose the next field (actually, one can, but that choice is deselected by the end of the animation). To add insult to injury, if one attempts to set a number when no field is selected, it plays another “help” animation with explanations, and while this field slides in and out, one cannot play either. Thus, if one plays fast, one is constantly stymied, slowed down, interrupted by the app, which breaks the flow and significantly reduces enjoyment. An interesting feature is the scoring, giving a bonus for completion of a series (row, col, sq) that decays over time. However, deleted to play other Sudoku games with more attention to detail and flow.

Sofoko is the most famous game I have ever played. It was the best one I have played with my friends and family and it is so good and so fun and so fun and I think it’s really good for you guys and it’s just so fun.

This was the first sudoku that really piqued my interest. I like the ranges of difficulty, and it’s my fallback for when I’m stuck in an airport or early for an appointment. My only real complaint is the way the numbers spin when you open a new puzzle is irritating after a while. Other than that,I’ve got no complaints.
