It used to be working when I typed # then I could choose the tag I input before, but it doesn’t work anymore, I have to type the full wording every single time. It still pops up the hashtags selections when I type the first alphabet however it won’t appear the word even I choose the hashtag... I tried deleting the app and reinstalled it but it still doesn’t work like it used to be. I hope it could be fixed.

Do NOT pay for the premium version of this app! I made the mistake of getting the lifetime premium version. The reason I paid for premium was to get access to the bank account connection feature. However, this feature stopped working after three weeks of using it. First, I started having bugs with the connection to my bank, then I started to frequently get disconnected, and now the bank connection just does not work. I have been in contact with Spendee support by email for the past two weeks, they have been of no help. my issue is still there, and they have given me no fix. In the last email reply, they sent me, they told me that my issue was not severe enough to be prioritised. What a joke. I repeat, do NOT get the premium version of this app. Furthermore, I have tried to contact the App Store to get a refund, and after making two requests, a refund has been denied, as I am considered “not eligible”. Do NOT pay for this.

I was attracted by its clean and friendly layout, still the UX is great. So I subscribed the premium version for an almost half price time limited promotion. Then recently I found out the price is even lower... this is really unfair for the customer who bought the app during the ‘special promo’. Additionally, the app always categories and hashtags my expenses wrongly, which doesn’t make my life easier that I have to spend time to check it. I have been trying out other new apps in the market and they don’t have this problem at all and they are even able to show the merchant’s logo. Considering that those apps are even free, don’t think Spendee is worth this price.

I have been using this app for a year and I had some nice time with it. But the recent update is disaster, I lost a few pieces of my data after the update, at some point you have no clue which data is missing but I was lucky to find out a pattern that there is a bug in the recurring expenses... this is not acceptable given your user store all the data in the app! There needs to be a disaster recovery plan or back up available if you have these kinds of updates, but apparently there is not. The updates are not more user friendly as well. In the budget tab, it changed from how much you left in your budget to how much you have spent.... which is a bad move
