After being introduced to this game by some of my Y6 friends, I thought I might go ahead and try it out. And believe me, this game plays as well as it looks! No wonky controls, a simple and easy-to-understand interface, and most importantly, a tutorial level are all present. While one may think this game is for kids or a rip-off of Call of Duty and Minecraft, it really is a lot more than that. It encourages players to work their way to the top through a simple and exciting progression system, doesn’t throw level 1 players into a match with level 30 players, and punishes mid-game quitters by deducting three trophies.Overall, while this game certainly isn’t as advanced as the mainstream FPS franchise games, it is certainly one worth putting time and effort into. Teamwork, dedication, and perseverance are all values each and every one of us should have, and Pixel Gun 3D definitely encourages us to develop such skills.
