Redesigned message view: conversations with several messages show an "AI · Conversation" card on the right, with a timeline of each message's sender and a one-line summary, and the layout no longer jumps when you switch messages. A new action bar at the bottom of the reading pane brings reply (hover for Reply All), forward, reading mode, in-conversation paging (⌥↑/⌥↓), snooze, archive and delete together; a security badge appears next to the sender. Read messages are grayed out in the list, so unread mail stands out. Major performance improvements: smoother list scrolling, page loading, and switching and opening messages; background refresh and badge updates use less power and fewer resources.
