John Scott Yoga is John's first foray into spreading his teaching and knowledge of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in the form of a digital App
The source material comes with Jonny's official approval and combines his existing DVD material and teacher training course notes in a new and portable format. The application focuses on the Vinyasa Count, the mantra of the Ashtanga practice, with Jonny's instructional audio track playing over images from his highly acclaimed Ashtanga DVD

This full version presents the Ashtanga Primary Series for review for existing students and as an introduction to those new to Jonny's teachings. The application is not meant as a means of learning Yoga postures though it is presented as a means to introduce the student to the details and intricacies of the Vinyasa Count.

John Scot Yoga Version has been rewritten for Swift and includes the following new items:
- New, quicker loading screen
- Asana States added to each asana detail page
- Asana states added to the vinyasa information
- Asana states added to the Flipcards
- Quizzes are now fully open and have a new layout
- New 'Practice Builder'+ that allows the creation and maintenance of up to 10 custom sequences of Asanas with parameters for setting the playback speed of the audio and instructions for the selected Asana. The App is not meant to be watched during sequence playback with the Builder which is why there is limited Image updates though text instructions are given in case you lose your place within your chosen asana and need to refer to the screen for guidance. The emphasis is on the Asana names, their vinyasa and the count through each vinyasa. Some experience of the Ashtanga Primary series is assumed for the builder. ++

This release includes updates for the Apple Watch:
- Mantra review in sanskrit, vinyasa count for each posture, sanskrit numbers and terms
- Asana Quiz to test your knowledge of the Vinyasa Count. You can run the quiz through in Primary Series order, or, if you prefer a challenge, tap and hold the main quiz screen and you can choose the quiz to present Asana in random order.
- A 'glance' option where if you glance at the Apple Watch screen a random posture will be displayed for you to try and remember the correct Vinyasa Count. Can't remember? Just wait a few seconds and the answer will appear!

See John on the Big Screen! Version 01.02.00 includes the facility to show the image slideshow on your TV! If you have an Apple TV you can now set up mirroring from your device to your TV. The introduction to Ashtanga Video and the image slideshows will appear as you watch and play back through the asana sequence!
