Good but.....

It seems to be that this app using real-time streaming - it encode your screen in the Mac or PC and your iOS device does real-time video decode. That means u need a really fast cpu for your computer and a decent newer iOS device. So, if u are using a two core cpu computer or a really old iPad , don’t bother buying his App. Everything will be slow and u will ask for a refund.

But if u have a top of the line computer and anewer iPad, go ahead. This app is the best in the market.

Great app and service

I have been using the app to set up my iPad Pro as a second screen for my PC when working with documents and spreadsheets. The app is working fine with very good user experience.
I found the screen of my PC showed flickering when using the mouse after connecting to the iPad Pro yesterday. This affected my work badly. I then wrote an email to the service support of the app. An answer from Duet Display reached me shortly following my email to ask for additional information for in-depth investigation. Another email from the service team within the same day provided a solution. I installed the new version of PC software and the app worked fine again. I appreciate very much their fast response and assistance. I would recommend the app to you if you plan to set up a second screen for your PC using an iPad.

It cause

I have to say this is very amazing function I could imagine. I tried it with pdf viewer, office, browser and photoshop etc. It works great, for the first time.

The days after, I try to use it as second display for my paper writing, then I noticed a little lag on the iPad. Slightly, but annoying. More than that, my photoshop and the other adobe softwares stops working. Which is the very major things I wanna do it on iPad. It always crashes during startup, even it do running well, I can’t open any files on it.

Turns out the duet software for PC was responsible for it, uninstall duet on PC, everything backs on track, and this app just become totally useless.
