The reference is Excel, then more and more Numbers is compatble, beter it become and we can see that each new version is closer of the compatibilty with Excel.Still some improvement and will me perfect

Please, completely revamp the software

Guys … this program is not at all user friendly …. Excel is way way ahead of this program. You can’t set page for print. There is a lot to learn from Excel…. you will not be able to convert any user of Excel into a Numbers. Whats the point of downloading all thse heavy programs and then find that it is all look and there is no performance when it comes to real number crunching. There is no page break. How do you expect a person to make a 30 - 40 page sheet and there are not tools to set it when it comes to print it. Besides hardware I believe the software team really needs to get in touch with what they are doing or have another version which has all or better options than Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note.Is Apple running it’s spread sheets on there own program ? I really cant believe how they can.
Please, completely revamp the software

1.- Changes to a document will be automatically saved. if not careful you may have lost the original drft. A document SHOULD NOT be changed unless you make a command "SAVE" or "SAVE AS" if you want to keep the original or the Template.2.- older versions cannot read later versions file. We get a message "update your version" but if the computer is old it cannot accept the upgrade...
