The Otentik Code Reader is a free application for reading and verifying Visible Digital Seals (VDSs) that comply with the requirements of the Otentik trust network.
The application verifies 2D barcodes (Datamatrix, QR Code and PDF417) compliant with the AFNOR Z42-105 standard and the Otentik Network extensions. This VDS encapsulates key data from a document in accordance with the associated use case. This data is electronically signed, enabling the Otentik Codes Reader to detect any tampering, to confirm the authenticity of the data and the legitimacy of the issuer.
The reader displays the encoded information in a readable format, using one of the localized languages defined by the use case.
The Otentik Codes Reader complies with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It is non-intrusive and keeps no trace of your navigation.
