very good

powerfull writing tool

Subscription fee model is ridiculous

Every developer is now hopping on this model as it ensures a stable string of revenue, to ensure the sustainability of the company, ensuring future development, continued customer support, and to be committed to releae patches and fixes when it is necessary. But guess what, all these things are supposed to be the burden of a company, on their senior maanagement. Look at Phillips, Panasonic, they all built products, then they sell them, offer them warranties, and support, while reserving an allotted amount to fund future development. Do you see people go buy an electric toothbrush wth a monthly fee now? This is ridiculous. This is just a greedy way to make money and a lazy way to keep your development well paid. With this model, your developpers will become increasingly lazy, complacent, and lakcing creativity. Don't put the burden on us, when it should be on the company.

can you offer the one time purchase option as well?

I really don't see a point of paying for a writing app every month or year. This is not a newspaper....otherwise I have no choice but to buy IA writer/. Personally I like Ulysses more as it has a better library option and better structure.
