Palettes, Groups and Cues can be edited and updated. New Features: • Apple Pencil is now supported. #0033851 • The Toolbar for 'SHIFT +' options such as 'SHIFT + REC', 'SHIFT + FAN' is now displayed. (Requires MagicQ v1.9.5.0) #0036160 • The operation of Fine mode has changed from a temporary setting of the SHIFT key to locking the SHIFT key. This allows the fine values to be displayed on the encoders. (Requires MagicQ v1.9.5.0) • Apple Pencil is now supported for dragging on faders in the Intensity and Playback Windows. #0033851 • A Quick Macro button has been added to the menu bar. (Requires MagicQ v1.9.5.0) • An Include button has been added to the Position Window. • When the app is closed the app will now exit Install Mode if currently set. This avoids having to reconnect to MagicQ to exit Install Mode when the app is next started. If the app reconnects with MagicQ set to Install Mode then the mode will be resumed. • Console entries on Connection Window list now contain a padlock icon when the console has a user set with a password. This will switch to an unlocked padlock when the remote app has the correct username and password set in Settings. If the user details on the console does not have the Enable Remote App entry enabled the the icon will indicate that access is not allowed. (Requires MagicQ v1.9.5.0) • Text in Window View cells now responds to the setting of Big Text Mode on MagicQ. Bug Fixes: • Intensity and Playback Window fader changes from the remote app were updating infrequently on MQ70 console displays. This is now fixed. • Encoder values were jumping when the user lifted their finger. This is now fixed. • Custom Execute Window fader graphics were not displayed. This is now fixed. • The MagicQ settings are now read regularly from MagicQ rather than just when viewing the Connection view. This means changes are actioned more rapidly. • When restarting the app a different console on the Connection list was sometimes selected instead of the last console connected to. This has been fixed. • The window icons downloaded from MagicQ are now cleared whenever the app is closed to ensure that the icons used by the app match those used by MagicQ when the app is next run. • Clearing the programmer will now immediately clear the active encoders on the Focus Window. • The notification popup that a new version of MagicQ is available will only appear once every seven days.

New Features: • When emailing ChamSys Support the app will attempt to download a zip file from the MagicQ console containing the show file, the session log and the log files from the last seven days. (Requires MagicQ 1.9.4.0) • Some devices do not respond to the broadcast discovery requests sent by the app. To improve MagicQ discovery a Scan button has been added to the Connection View which directly messages the other devices on the same network as the app. • In the Connection View devices not running a MagicQ version older than the latest Stable will be highlighted in red. • If a Console's IP address changes and it is already listed in the app's Connection View then the app will recognise it as the same console. If the app is connected to this console then it will remain connected. Bug Fixes: • The width of the Focus Window Bank and Range selection popups has been increased. • On some devices icons were not appearing in the Execute Window until exiting and returning to the window. This has now been fixed.

New Features: • A link to the app Beta Programmes has been added to the Help View. • Access to the app can now be specified on a per user basis. The MagicQ username and password for a user can be set in the Settings window. If no user is set on MagicQ then access is open. In MagicQ user settings a per user setting can also be set to enabled/disable access to the app or limit access to the Execute Window only (Install Mode). (Requires MagicQ v1.9.3.0) • Pair and Mirror buttons for Stadium consoles have been added to the combined Focus Window shown in large screen mode. New Features: • The separate Fine and Shift buttons have been restored. The operation of Shift has also changed. Enabling Shift on the remote will now operate on the next button pressed only and Shift will be disabled afterwards. The app will now not change the state of Shift on MagicQ. • A connection health indicator has been added to the Connection button on the main menu. If there is an issue with the connection to MagicQ then this will progressively turn from green to red. Bug Fixes: • Position Window thumbwheels caused the value to jump at the start of a movement. This is now fixed.

New Features: • Selecting the attribute range by tapping the centre of a bank encoder in the tablet Focus Window has been extended from the bottom two encoders to all encoders. (Requires MagicQ v1.8.7.6). • Force Tablet Mode has been replaced by Large Screen Mode and now allows the mode to be toggled on both small and large screen devices. • A 'Display Views on MagicQ' settings has been added. When enabled, Win views displayed will also be displayed in MagicQ. Bug Fixes: The Enc and Picker buttons on the Focus Window on the tablet were not being enabled for colour attributes for some lights (eg Arri SkyPanel). This is now fixed. #0026823 When using the Force Tablet Mode on a small screen device the wrong Focus Window encoders will be displayed when the group is changed on MagicQ. This is now fixed. #0026823 8bit fixtures could not be adjusted from the app when Fine was enabled. The 'Fine' button has now been replaced by the 'Shift (Fine)' button, replicating its use in MagicQ to set Fine control whilst still allowing 8bit fixture adjustment. New Features: • A switch has been added to the Settings Window to force the app into Tablet Mode and display the more detailed combined Key & Focus Window. This switch is useful if the device is reporting a screen size smaller than its actual size. Bug Fixes: The Window View was not changing when a view was selected on the app. This has been fixed. MagicQ was not responding to the Shift button being pressed on the remote. This has now been fixed (Requires MagicQ v1.8.8.0). #0008084 The Sel button was not highlighted when selected on the remote. This has now been fixed.

Fixed issue if the remote app is sending messages to MagicQ during startup.

New Features: Window View now has a box displaying MagicQ status messages. Display of the box can be toggled in Settings View. Details of the latest MagicQ software version are now displayed in Help View. Tapping the text will take you to the ChamSys webpage providing software downloads and release notes on the latest features of MagicQ. A new Report Bug button in Help View has been added to take you to the ChamSys webpage for reporting bugs in MagicQ and MagicQ Remote. The text and sizing of buttons have been refreshed to match MagicQ consoles and improve readability. Release notes have been added to the Help View. Individual encoder and fader images are now displayed in the Execute Window when set in MagicQ. Execute Window now uses previously downloaded images unless Redownload Images is selected in Settings. Imporved Window View edit dialog. Fixed Execute Window refresh. Gesture to hide/unhide Execute Window tab bar changed to 2 finger swipe to avoid conflict with iOS gesture.
