My experience with Vinted has been extremely disappointing. After years of using the platform and building a strong history of positive transactions, I was suddenly treated as if I were a fraudster and my account was permanently blocked based on allegations that were never properly explained or substantiated.I provided clear evidence, including a genuine purchase receipt from Zalando, photos and all the information requested. Instead of receiving a proper explanation or a meaningful review of the evidence, I repeatedly received generic, automated responses stating that my account was involved in “fraudulent activity” and that the decision would not be changed.What is even more concerning is the way disputes and returns are handled. In one case, I was left without my money and without a proper opportunity to resolve the issue because my account had been blocked. Support simply repeated the same automated answers instead of addressing the actual facts of my case.A platform cannot expect users to trust it with their money, personal identification documents and private financial information while refusing to provide transparent explanations when something goes wrong.Vinted needs to understand that users are not just account numbers. We deserve real answers, proper investigations, transparency and a fair opportunity to defend ourselves.After my experience, I can no longer recommend Vinted. What was once a useful marketplace has become a platform where automated decisions seem to matter more than evidence, common sense and customer rights.

Its a good concept. I use this app a lot. But improvements could be made. Since we’re shopping second hand we cannot fully know our sizes unless we’re looking at specific brands we shop in for items that were recently produced. Vintage pieces are often different measurments in comparison to today’s sizes. And we cannot ship things back without expenses the way you can do that for online shopping at specific brands. This is why the measurment system should be perfected to avoid any mistakes. A measurment option for both your own profile preferences and an option to the item description should be added as a way to ensure consumers get the right fitted clothes, the items sell better and better connect to the buyers. There should be an option in the description for trousers to be able to add the waist, hip, rise, inseam, outseam and thigh width. And for tops there should be a length,, shoulder width, arm hole length and chest width. An option to specify a size based on what you are looking for in the preferences should also be added. For eg. I’m an S/M for tops but an L for bottoms and if I choose more sizes in the profile preferences: I will get trousers that are an M and tops that are an L as a recommendation as well which fills my feed with clothes I would not buy and keeps me from seeing the clothes I would. That should be fixed. Partnering with BoxNow is a great option! I’m hating the options for price nagotiations because in Croatia people try to argue for prices that are lower than 3 euros and honestly for that amount I would rather donate the clothes than waste my own time trying to sell them on Vinted for consumers that want good clothes for nothing.

I must honestly express my strong dissatisfaction with the way rules are applied on this platform.As an active user, I see on a daily basis a large number of profiles that clearly use images taken from the internet and violate basic platform rules, yet continue to sell without any consequences. At the same time, my profile, where I use my own photos has been sanctioned and blocked for the second time.I would like to emphasize that I sell exclusively my own personal items and do not engage in reselling, unlike the majority of profiles I see here. Because of such resellers, who bulk-buy products from stores and then resell them at higher prices, regular customers are often unable to purchase items at standard retail prices. Unfortunately, it appears that Vinted not only tolerates this practice but implicitly supports it, as these profiles selling currently available or sold-out store items are most often left without any consequences.I find this kind of treatment extremely unfair, degrading, and unprofessional. Rules should apply equally to all users, not selectively, as this approach seriously undermines trust in the platform.It gives the impression that numerous obvious violations are tolerated, while sanctions are applied to individuals who actually follow the rules. I find this unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

I am a frequent uploader on Vinted. They keep removing most of my listings for having been identified as low quality photos or even copyright. I always use my own pictures with a plain white background which follow all of their catalogue rules. On the other hand, I keep seeing other people’s listings whose photos have been clearly taken on the internet or have been very poorly taken and Vinted still hasn’t taken their listings down. I think it’s very unfair and I keep getting frustrated every time they remove my listing because I’m scared they might ban me, because I have money stored in my Vinted balance, if I get the warning again since I got it maybe 6 times already. Other than that problem of unfair listing removals, I find Vinted an amazing and probably the best app for selling things.
