Live TV 5: New Widgets, Smart Zoom and a revised Portrait view. Keep your favorite channels easily in view on iPhone and iPad.
Your TV. Wherever you go.
Watch German and international television on your iPhone and iPad with Live TV – at home and on the go. Discover channels, see what's on and save special moments as clips. Now also optimized for iPhone Duo.
TURN YOUR TV MOMENTS INTO CLIPS
Capture special moments from supported streams. Set the start and end precisely, refine your selection in the built-in clip editor and adjust the aspect ratio. Save your clips to your collection or Photos and share them directly from the app.
OPTIMIZED FOR IPHONE DUO
Live TV adapts to the different views on your iPhone Duo. In portrait, landscape or book mode, keep watching with the channel list and programme details in view.
LIVE TELEVISION, WHEREVER YOU ARE
News, sport, series or entertainment: Choose from over 200 TV streams and find your favourite channels with search, favourites and filters for language, country and topic. Live TV audience ratings show you which programmes are particularly popular right now.
PAUSE, REWIND, KEEP WATCHING
Use Timeshift to pause and rewind supported streams. The clear timeline helps you find a particular moment or a programme already in progress.
WATCH TV IN PORTRAIT
Adjust the size of the TV picture with a swipe. On iPhone, switch between the channel list and programme details below the playing video. Smart Zoom helps you follow the action even with a narrow crop.
YOUR CHANNELS AT A GLANCE
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show you what's on your channel. Other widgets display your favourites, popular channels or open your saved TV Wall.
FOUR CHANNELS AT ONCE
With TV Wall 4x, keep an eye on up to four streams and switch to the channel that interests you.
WATCH TV YOUR WAY
• Keep watching with Picture in Picture while using other apps.
• Send supported streams to a larger screen with AirPlay.
• Adjust picture quality and data usage to suit your connection.
• Select available subtitles and audio tracks.
• View programme information and discover more through the links to TV Pro and TV Pro Mediathek.
Live TV does not add its own commercials when you change channels. Streams come directly from the broadcasters; advertising within the broadcast programme remains unchanged.
Try a selection of channels without registering. Additional channels and features are available through in-app purchases.
An internet connection is required. Channel availability, picture quality and available features depend on the source and your package. Widgets require iOS 17 or later.
