I still don’t understand howcome this app hasn’t been improved to keep the pictures in a better quality while sending. Especially profile pictures seems terrible in low quality in this app. And it would be better to have an option to choose whom can see our profile pictures in our contacts list.
Automatic backup does not work!
RagnarHUN
WhatsApp on my iPhone 12 Pro Max won’t make backup automatically. Everything is turned on that’s needed, I am always using the latest iOS and WhatsApp version, I have enough free space on my iCloud drive and manually triggered backup just works perfectly, but WhatsApp doesn’t seem to make backup automatically. It’s set to make backup daily, yet whenever I open the app and check, the latest backup is always the one I triggered a few days ago. Background activities are allowed to the app, my phone is connected to wifi during the night and is on charge, yet WhatsApp never backups on its own, nor on mobile data, neither wifi, when i trigger the backup manually it just works fine. Other similar apps like Viber, Telegram don’t have this issue. It needs to be fixed.
Serious Security Risk & Useless Support
Ayvalyy
This is a serious privacy and security issue. I legally purchased my phone number months ago, but WhatsApp still keeps it linked to the previous owner’s account. When I try to activate WhatsApp, the app asks me to confirm the login on another device that belongs to a stranger, which makes activation impossible.Customer support is extremely disappointing. I only receive generic, copy-paste replies that completely ignore the real problem and provide no actual solution. They claim the new owner can simply verify the number, but WhatsApp’s own system blocks verification by requiring confirmation on a device I do not have access to.This situation puts my confidentiality and personal safety at risk. In countries like Spain, WhatsApp is essential for official communication, deliveries, services, and sharing sensitive personal information. The idea that another person may still have access to an account linked to my number is unacceptable.A company of this size should have a clear and secure process to remove previous accounts or devices when phone numbers are reassigned.Until this issue is properly addressed, WhatsApp cannot be considered safe or trustworthy.

This app isn’t that bad but also aren’t that good. Sometimes it just stops working for minutes like why??? Also there’s always something wrong with the video/chat calls and it’s pretty annoying. BUT, I’m not saying that it’s bad! Also, y’all should really remove the phone numbers from public! It makes online predadors’ actions so much easier, we want some privacy... also please shout down this whole “Momo” thing. It’s like not scary no more but annoying. I’m not blaming the app but thanks to the public phone numbers it was so easy to make a drama. Thank you!
We update the app regularly to fix bugs, optimize performance and improve the experience. Thanks for using WhatsApp!
