New in this update:
- Share your offline library from iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV as an SMB network drive in Finder on Mac or File Explorer on Windows. Manage password protection and read-only access in Settings. Keep the app open while sharing; your device stays awake automatically.
- Choose Normal or Bold subtitles in Settings or during playback.
- Mark videos and folders as Watched or Unwatched, including favorite folders.
- Improved playback and reading history storage and iCloud syncing, with no fixed limit on the number of saved items. Completed videos remain marked as watched and replay from the beginning.
- Open Settings directly from any library folder.
- Improved performance when browsing, searching, and sorting large folders.
- Clearer playback controls and file selection highlights on Apple TV, plus more readable elapsed time and watched badges in the light theme.
- Fixed missing Close controls when viewing photos and videos on iPhone. During video playback, Close hides and reappears with the other controls.
- Improved connection recovery, folder refreshes, saved computer settings, and local network access checks. Fixed retry controls after canceling a reconnection and improved download cancellation.
- Rating requests no longer interrupt initial setup.
