This is my favorite app blocker now! Very easy to use and understand, the features are quite complete and it’s not buggy so far. But I do have some suggestions:- For schedules with open limits on apps, it would be great if the number opens we have left is visible in the block screen. So for example if we open Instagram and see the open limit block screen, we can see we have 3 out of 4 opens left or something like that, so we can check how many opens an app has without opening the appblock app or checking the widgets.- It would be nice if there was a “cooldown” feature, so when we open an app with open limits and the time is up, we need to wait some time until we can open it again. For example, if we open instagram which has open limits, when the time is up, we need to wait 5 minutes or whatever amount of time we want until we can open instagram again, instead of being able to open instagram right after we just used it. So instagram is effectively blocked for some time after the last use. This can help stop people from going through all their opens in one sitting if they have a lot of free time. - For the widgets, it would be nice if we could choose what schedules to display for the large widget with 5 schedules in it. Having those single schedule widgets are quite annoying if we have many schedules, our home screen is taken up by a bunch of AppBlock widgets.
It means a lot that AppBlock has become your favorite app blocker and feels easy, complete, and stable. Your ideas for visible open limits, a cooldown after use, and more flexible widgets are genuinely useful for stronger screen time control and focus. We’ll share them with the team - Anna
