STUDY AT YOUR PACE
Practise readings, meanings and writing in short sessions. Check furigana, flashcards and stroke animations. Save favourites, resume unfinished study and use self-ratings to plan your next review.
WRITE AND COMPARE
Inspect individual strokes in the writing guide and compare your handwriting with a model. Feedback separates shape, stroke order and stroke direction, highlighting points the app can assess. Automatic feedback is a practice aid, not a substitute for a teacher's assessment.
PREPARE AND REUSE CLASSROOM SETS
Choose kanji and words from different lessons, arrange them and save a set. Show or hide written forms, readings and meanings as needed. Use portrait or landscape on iPhone and iPad for classroom presentation.
MATERIALS AND LANGUAGES
848 kanji across 155 lessons. The first 26 lessons, covering 147 kanji, are free.
Choose from 22 languages for word meanings and 20 interface language options, including regional variants. These are separate settings; some content explanations remain in English. See the App Store Languages section for supported interface languages.
MONTHLY PLAN
An auto-renewing monthly subscription unlocks all 155 lessons. Local pricing and terms appear on the in-app purchase screen. Restore purchases in the app and manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account.
Study records, favourites and classroom sets stay on your device. No separate app account is required; cross-device sync is not supported. Initial font downloads, purchases, purchase restoration and external web materials require an internet connection.
Open free external web tests in Japanese from Home to check reading and writing in sentences. These tests do not share study records with the app.
In-app materials may be displayed during in-person or remote classes. Secondary use and redistribution are not permitted. See the usage information in the app.
