The Aladdin App gives parents, teachers and administrators access to relevant student information and delivers push notifications from your school directly to your device. Discover some of the major benefits of Aladdin Connect for both parents and school including: • Book your parent teacher meetings instantly with zero hassle • Keep up to date with your child's records throughout the school year • Never miss an update from the school with app messaging • Reduce the need for notes through the submission of absence reasons • Submit permissions to the school with the tap of a button Make sure you check each of the following areas: • Confirm that your school is currently subscribed to Aladdin Connect and you have completed the registration process with your unique link sent by the school. • Make sure your phone is marked as a ‘Personal Device’ in login settings in order to receive app notifications. • If you wish to remain logged in please either select "keep me signed in" or "use biometrics" from the login settings page. Please Note: Your device will need to be password protected and/or have biometrics setup for this option.

Huw has a phone
I wanted to report an issue but it doesn’t seem to be available via the Apple services. Aladdin is intermittently showing several notifications while none actually exist. This is very annoying. Please fix it.

Request to Restore Copy and Paste Function in Messaging

Dear Paladin Support TeamAfter the recent update, I noticed that the copy and paste function is no longer available in the messaging section of the app. Currently, only Autofill options (such as contact or password suggestions) appear, and it is not possible to paste text into messages.This change has made communication very difficult for me. English is not my first language, and I regularly use a translator to write messages to the school. The ability to copy and paste text is essential for me to communicate clearly and accurately.I kindly ask you to consider restoring the copy and paste functionality in the messaging feature. It is extremely important for non-native English speakers and greatly improves accessibility and usability of the app.Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I truly appreciate your support.

Frustrating No email notification option

There is no option to receive a copy of school noticeboard messages. I wrote to them requesting this and they didn’t answer. It is frustrating as I want to receive all school notifications in 1 place as the school already uses email and 2 apps to communicate. As a result I am missing school messages put on Aladdin if the notification arrives when I am busy. It makes life very complicated especially when you have multiple children at school,

Both the app and the website are dreadful. Really poor. The app does not allow me to temporarily leave the app to verify payment through my online banking application. This requires me to use two devices simultaneously, which is ridiculous.Furthermore, the lack of a web portal for ePayments is a significant limitation. This restricts users to using the app exclusively for online payments, which is also difficult.

Hi Alan, Thanks for the review. Sorry to see you are unhappy with your experience using ePayments. Due to the nature of data stored within Aladdin, we do have some restrictions in place around continued usage of the app after switching to another app on your device. However, You should definitely have enough time to verify any banking transactions etc. The app will only time you out after 3 minutes of inactivity, at which point you will need to gain access to your account again - this process can be streamlined through the use of biometrics. In some cases your device/iOS may force this to happen prematurely depending on the demands of the other app(s) you are using.It is also possible to access ePayments via your web browser. This can be accessed in app using 'tap here to open this page in your device browser' link on the ePayments page. This link can be used to access ePayments from any device/web browser.If you need any further assistance or have any further queries please don't hesitate to reach out on app@aladdin.ie
