Track & Trace allows you to track the progress of a delivery online, from arrival to A Post right through until the item is delivered. Now you can save your tracking numbers so you can keep track of all your online shopping and sending!
Buy your digital stamp through the app and send your post at a time that suits you. You can now deliver anywhere in the world with our International Digital Stamps. We'll even notify you once your post has been delivered.
Click & Post:
Our Click & Post service offers a fast and convenient way to purchase your postage labels or book a shopping return online all at the touch of a button. You simply buy your postage label by entering what you want to send, followed by the destination you are sending it to, once the postage label has been purchased you print your label, attach it to your item and drop it off at your nearest post office. If you don’t have a printer, we will print it for you in the post office.
Take the hassle out of returning your item with Click & Post; simply book your return online and decide whether to have your item collected from you at your convenience or else drop it off at your nearest post office or one of our other drop off locations. If you are having your returns item collected there is no need to print any returns label as our postal operative will have done this for you before they collect the item.

An Post My Account allows you to manage all your activity with An Post from one convenient place. Track and manage deliveries, buy postage, review transactions and more with your one stop shop for An Post products and services. Set up a business or personal account today.
Unsure about the cost of your item? Our simple online postage calculator tool allows you to calculate your costs based on the weight of your item and the destination it is going to. Our size guide provides you with examples of the different item weights. You can also view all of the prohibited items, so you know what you can’t send. Once you have purchased your label simply print it off and drop your item at your nearest post office. If you don't have a printer we will print the label for you in the post office.
Our online shop gives users the full post office experience online. Customers can purchase from our full suite of stamps, buy postage labels, pre-paid packaging as well as our top selling mobile phones.
Paying Customs Charges:
If an item is coming from outside the EU, Irish Revenue will apply a customs charge. This customs charge must be paid to An Post within 22 calendar days for your item to be released for delivery. Customers can pay this charge easily online using their tracking ID and customs reference number. Glad to see the much requested feature added as the tracking app was useless until you could save the details so you didn't have to keep adding the tracking number every time.

Items going missing
An item I ordered recently from China was delivered to An Post , only for it to be sent to the Netherlands. When I enquired to An Post I was fobbed off and told that only the Sender can enquire about my missing item.
This is absolute denial of responsibilty by An Post and passing the Buck back to the Sender. In Future , where absolutely possible I will use a Courier service.
In contrast , when I contacted the Seller they refunded my money within two hours no questions asked. They have confirmed that my correct address was on the parcel.
I find it absolutely astonishing that it arrived in Ireland and then sent to Holland instead.
UI needs improvement
First of all I can’t sign in my account to this app to see my current packages. I can do it from the web site so why not do it here too?
App UI design is ok but UX not that great. There are no animations between menus or in menu items like buttons. Pressing a menu item feels like a classic safari web site navigation.
Shop option is nice but the UX is not great. It shouldn’t be a safari page. When I press shop button I feel like I am using the shop option from a website. It doesn’t feel like an real app.
Digital stamps are great but we can’t track the postage which send with a digital stamp. I don’t understand why we can’t do that. Digital stamps are handled by an image recognition system so you can automate this easily. At least users can view the postage is collected, on the way and delivered.
