Mr Slate ,

A great way to build up your list of Ancestors

Using app for a long time. It is really intuitive and allows easy access to the main areas. It is easy to use and quick responses. You really need to do the DNA test to generate multiple responses. Ancestry seems to be poor on Irish HINTS for people who remained in Ireland but very good on Irish people who emigrated to USA and UK.
ANCESTRY subscription used to be good value BUT it is now approaching TOO EXPENSIVE 🫣🥵

Latest update a backwards step with DNA matches

The interface is a backwards step compared to the much cleaner more intuitive previous version. I see you are trying to bring it in line with the stand alone DNA Ancestry app... there’s a reason I never use that app!

The only plus is that the matches have been added back into the main interface.

Otherwise bad
- Additional clicks now needed to navigate managed DNA accounts.
- group marker management now needs additional steps to add / remove from shared matches.
- in fact, I can’t even find where I can add /remove the assigned groups... actually I just discovered that I need to hold and push the match to get at the required menu... maybe others find that intuitive...
- how can I navigate through matches to see them from other managed accounts. It was very handy in the previous version when I could see a match was a cousin of my father and a second cousin of my other relative whom I manage. Can find that functionality without navigating out of one managed account, back in to the other one and hopefully finding the same person on the other account.

All in all I’m afraid this update is a shambles.

And please note I love using this app.... till now anyways

Ancestry access

I am a member but find it difficult to access. I can open family tree. When I do it is difficult to update and continually sends you to a pay to access further information. What does the membership fee cover and why not charge a general access to all ares fee. It is frustrating to have to pay for access when you are not sure of where you want a research

It’s a good research tool but it is not user friendly. Could improve
