Ratings and Reviews
Playback Error
The app constantly stops playing and displays ‘Playback Error’. Once that happens with an episode, the episode becomes permanently unplayable and your place in the episode is lost. It’s an extremely frustrating bug in an otherwise great app.
This has been an issue for over a year on my girlfriends iPhone 12 and recently on my iPhone 13. We both have the most up to date version of the app. Unfortunately the app is unusable in its current state.
Great except one flaw…it keeps stopping
The user interface is pretty easy to do. But I’m my iPhone SE it will always stops minutes or so after starting the episode. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. These seems to be the one flaw that should be fixed before anything.
End of life
App constantly stops playing once it goes into the background. Google have obviously given up on the app per their plan to axe the service. Will be switching to Spotify.
