Fretello Guitar Lessons 4+

I have been looking for a guitar app that can teach me more about the theory of music and help me to understand and read music faster. At the same time, I am an at home guitar player and just want to be able to play my favourite songs and show off when friends and family come around.

No that being said, I do practice daily, but I find that there isn’t enough guidance on the app or a step by step guide you can follow.

It would be great if they could compile the lessons in order of importance, like a follow along lesson plan, and while you work through and master the lessons, you get ratings that help you see where you need to put in a little more practice.

I find that the lessons are a little all over the place. And then the song selection is very limited. Some other guitar apps have a much larger selection, but lack in the theory side. So if they could increase the song selection, add backing tracks to it that you can slow down and have real time feedback where the app can show you where or how you have gone wrong, it will feel more personal, like you have a real guitar teacher there with you.

All in all, I think the developers are going in the right direction, but there is still a lot more that could be added to the app to make it more interactive, more fun, and easier to follow along a progressive line of improving skills and song repertoire.

You are actually pointing out one thing that we are already working on - a learning path to guide you through the app. Our main focus is to improve the Learn and Practice sections of our app at the moment. Stay tuned for updates :)

At the set up it asks what your level is and I selected that I could play a few basic chords. When you start on the app it has you repetitively playing single strings!! Very boring and frustrating since I already said I could do more than that! No way of skipping the very basic content that I can see! Can’t be bothered playing a high e string 40 times just to unlock the next lesson of playing the low E string 40 times.. 🤦🏻‍♂️ please fix this

Last December they took an annual fee of €200 off me right before Christmas. After having Zero customer help I decided to cancel it. Much to my shock I have just seen they have taken €111 this is totally unacceptable! I want this issue resolved immediately, or I promise you I’ll be taking swift legal action.
