Terrible app, terrible service

I couldn’t view my bill breakdown online, all pages kept routing back to the main home page which mentions the app. When you call 3 to make a bill payment their automated service also plays a message (multiple times) that bills should be viewable in full from this app. Of course this isn’t an option and the app is arguably more useless than 3’s website. Chat feature also doesn’t work, just says it’s connecting constantly (I know this isn’t my internet connection as everything else is running as smoothly as ever). When I tried to bring up the issue of not being able to view my bill through their website’s chat feature they just stopped replying.


I’ve never in my life left a negative review for anything but 3’s intentions seem to be to make everything as difficult as possible for their customers and I’m honestly just sick of it. If I wasn’t stuck in a contract with them I would cancel ASAP. Their customer service is a joke only I’m so fed up I can’t even bring myself to laugh any longer.

This app is truly a highlight of the terrible service one has come to expect as a paying 3 customer and if I could rate it any worse I absolutely would. When your app has 600+ reviews and an average rating of 1.2 stars maybe it’s time to actually listen and make an effort to improve.

The worst network and total ripoff

If I could score them -5 I would. I’m stuck with a contract that I tried to cancel within the 14 days they stated on the cancellation they convinced me try a different product when that wasn’t working as expected they refused to cancel a week in and tried to charge me a cancellation fee of over €700 which is the same as paying for a service per month that doesn’t work. That’s was for my cellphone I was very happy on prepaid. As for their broadband, the WiFi signal is the worst, I’m literally using a different service while I wait for the contract to end. I work from home at times and need a stable connection. And for only 2 devices there’s constant buffering and network connection gone which is not ideal. I would not recommend at all, was on prepaid and was very happy now on contract and I hardly ever have signal and can’t cancel because I’m not about to pay for a terrible service. Same address same phone. Do better three.

Rubbish

This app is as rubbish as the company itself. I tried to change my plan this morning to give me more voice minutes to other networks, the app told me it couldn’t do this at that time. I then topped up by €20 to activate my old plan. This €20 top up then disappeared within 2 hours. I rang customer care to see what the problem was and was informed I had used the €20 on data. In two hours. Despite being at home connected to wifi. The customer care rep then told me that my plan hadn’t been activated as I had changed to a €30 plan that morning. Again, despite the app telling me that it wasn’t possible to do that. I was not offered a refund or even an apology for the error. I was informed that if I topped up on the 3 app, I would be able to avail of a half price offer and get my €30 plan for €15. I attempted this and of course, got an error message on the app. Had to top up by 30 via my banking app in the end so have now spent €50 on credit today alone. Will be leaving 3 as soon as possible.
