Frustrating to us in common scenarios
The app has two main issues that make it painful to use.
1) You can’t close your iPhone or background the app to make it easily work as an audio monitor like other manufacturers systems/apps. This makes it incredibly frustrating to carry around the house without bumping the display or multitask on your phone.
2) The app resets your phone audio volume when it connects and you can not mute it. Any attempt to turn the volume to zero just resets to back on. This makes it impossible to check on one child while you get another one to sleep because every noise will come through. If you try to use the monitor in the room to see where things are enjoy your audio feedback loop. Or if you’re standing by the door and can already hear it means there is extra noise late at night in the house you’re trying to keep quiet.
I’m surprised IOS allows apps to override the volume on your phone like this but it absolutely shouldn’t be done.

1) Audio only function is implemented, in the live view display there is a window icon, press the icon to active the window mode. During window mode, user can turn off the iphone screen, background audio will continue.
2) Sorry for the inconvenience caused, bug fix version will release soon for the audio volume problem.
Update has locked me out
Can no longer log in to my account after the recent update. This is our second of the monitor (first one inexplicably broke on Christmas Eve) and is now causing more stress. I’ve spoken to customer support who told me to uninstall the app and reinstall it. Have done this now 4 times today to no avail. I’m so stressed over this and at a loss as to what to do.
