Control your hearing aids discreetly with the touch of a finger
Oticon Companion provides you with discreet, improved control over your hearing aids – so you can personalize your listening experience for any environment, find your hearing aids if they become lost, get remote support from your hearing care professional when you need it, and much more.
The Oticon Companion App is compatible with all Oticon Bluetooth® hearing aids. However, some app features may require a specific hearing aid model or a firmware update. Please consult your hearing care professional for assistance with firmware updates.
With Oticon Companion, you can:
• Adjust the volume of your hearing aids and various settings (e.g. remote microphone, noise reduction, and sound and streaming equalizer)
• Switch between predefined programs according to the different listening situation you are in
• Monitor your battery levels
• Help you find your hearing aids if you lose them
• Use SpeechBooster to reduce background noise and enhance speech when you need to focus on conversation.
• Use your device as a remote microphone and get better access to the voice of another speaker in noisy environments
• Customize your surrounding sounds with the sound equalizer*
• Set and track hearing aid wear-time goals with the HearingFitness™ feature*
• Use the streaming equalizer for a personalized listening experience. The streaming equalizer is available for all Oticon Bluetooth® hearing aids except Oticon Opn™ and Oticon Siya
• Have your hearing aids adjusted and receive counseling from the comfort of your own home – via a live video call with your hearing care professional
• Handle wireless accessories paired with your hearing aids; control multiple TV Adapters or devices, such as Oticon EduMic or ConnectClip, which can be used both for streaming and as a remote microphone
* This feature is available with Oticon Real™ and Oticon Intent™

We've added the option of monitoring the charging status of your hearing aids in the app. You can check if your hearing aids are charging or fully charged while in charger.* We've also added dark mode as an option that you can select in your phone settings. And finally, you can turn on or off notifications for the HearingFitness™ feature according to your preference. *Only available with Oticon Intent™

App not working or connecting
App is installed and updated, as is my iphone updated to latest OS.
App will not connect and asks to be updated, i go to update but it already updated. Unistalled the app, reset phone to factory settings and reinstall the app. Exact same scenario repeats. This app is absolutely terrible. I will not be endorsing otticon or advise anyone to buy them. The reason i went with otticon was to have the availability to adjust the sound to different environments. Its an utter disgrace to spend thousands of euro on a product and have ZERO control. Fix the app!!! Or roll it back to the previous version which worked fine.

Hearing Aid not connecting
I have a right and left hearing aid , the App never connects to the right hearing aid. Like the previous reviewer I have tried deleting and reinstalling the App but this doesn’t make any difference. It is disappointing after spending so much on the hearing aids that the supplier cannot develop a properly functioning App that supports the user. I too found the previous App better.

Connection
This app is of no use to me as it will not connect to my hearing aids no matter how many times I try. Deleted it, reinstalled it same problem very annoying &frustrating .
Why did ye change from the old app that worked perfectly. Don’t try fixing what is not broken. Had to give it one star which it doesn’t deserve just to put up this review.
