Easy to use
Very easy to download…no need for our remote (which ended up in a cup of tea). You can manage sky tv exactly as you would your remote control.
Sky Remote… not perfect
It recognises the tv and Sky box initially but still the app will not allow volume to be used which is frustrating! Anytime I try to uninstall and reinstall it the app can immediately recognise my tv but when I select it it suddenly says it cannot recognise it!! Then when I install the sky box it partially works. If you try to use the volume button it searches for the tv but never any joy, yet it seen it at the instillation stage! Frustrating… as is having to go into settings each time to remind it that you have already paid them to remove advertising. And guess what - yes, you have to reinstall it AGAIN! And it still doesn’t have the voice assistant option button.
Otherwise it is a really great app and comes in if you misplaced your remote for Sky!

Please elaborate a few things so we can fix them:
1) What type of device do you use? Is it Sky Q? Sky HD+?
2) What do you mean by the reconnection issues? Can you elaborate when do this happen? We want to reproduce the issue in order to solve it
3) Regarding the volume command, what TV do you have? Is it connected to the same WiFi as the Sky stb?

Brilliant
Lost the remote to my Sky Q Mini box and couldn’t use it for a week! Searched up this app and worked perfectly! Had the TV back up and running in a minute! Brilliant!
