Revolut Business 4+

So glad I chose Revolut

I opted for Revolut after a lot of frustrating interactions with Irish banks - things are just always harder than they need to be with elaborate payment validations, calls, the expectation that you would drop in or print and send a lot of forms. Revolut is so much easier, the app makes it easy to manage payments for my start up and to keep an eye on my cash. Having such a user friendly app also makes me so much more likely to check in regularly and to make better financial decisions as a result. Highly recommend for first time entrepreneurs.

Good for expenses, but does not provide full banking services

I’ve used IBB in the past and hated it. This is technically much better. And it’s cheaper. The Revolut app, the digital cards, separating funds are simple to use and all great, however this bank just does not provide full banking services and reports. This means I have to open a second business account in another bank to operate. It’s perfect as a secondary banking option.

Response: thanks for the reply. This has already been raised with the Revolut team. They have informed us there are two reports/financial items so far that we need that they cannot provide… a mandate and no set off letter which are key to accessing grants and accessing public funds. Basically… any document that isn’t automatically created in the app they just won’t provide.

Unbelievable banking

Revolut really makes banking so easy and puts all other Irish Banks to shame. From it’s ability to notify suppliers directly that funds are in their account immediately, to helping us with our accounts by being able to search suppliers within our account, by saving us money by not charging vasts amounts of transaction fees that the traditional Irish banks do as a matter of course. Get yourselves a revolut business account. Don’t take my work for it, but I’m not wrong.
