Together with our DataPlug**, the ‘We Connect Go’ app connects you instantly with your new vehicle or model from 2008 onwards. That’s plug and play connectivity from Volkswagen.

An overview of the benefits for you:
- Display various vehicle data, warning symbols and upcoming service intervals
- Volkswagen authorised workshops, appointment scheduling and navigation are just a click away
- Greater safety in an emergency thanks to direct contact with the national 24-hour breakdown service or the Volkswagen service hotline
- Digital tools such as a fuel monitor or electronic logbook with automatic recording and export function
- Drive more efficiently and save fuel with statistics, driving style analysis and challenges

Download the free app, simply insert the DataPlug into your vehicle’s diagnostic connection, register in the app and connect your smartphone to your Volkswagen via Bluetooth.

Nice interface. Prone to freezing of late

1. Freezes when I tap the percentage for a trip for several seconds - tapping the X does nothing.
2. Some encoding issue as the exclamation mark in “Up!” isn't displayed properly.
3. Complains about driving in too low a gear/revs too high: a bit silly seeing as the revs are easily 3k doing 120km/h in 5th gear especially in the Up.

Battery DRAIN!!!

I have used this app for about four months now. I have found it very handy for information on things like my driving style, which it analyses and shows you how to improve. It also tells you things like how many kilometres are on the clock and works out your fuel costs.
The interface is a bit all over the place, but in general it works quite well. I think it’s best described as a work in progress.
My big problem with this app is the battery drain it caused. On any day of the week, I this app was using between 28% and 32% of my battery. That’s HUGE!!! That’s 1/3 of my entire battery usage every single day.
I contacted the app support, they were asking me to change settings on my phone that didn’t exist.
Overall, it’s a pretty handy app, but the battery usage is simply too much.
I have now removed the data plug and deleted the app.

iPhone 11 Pro Max & Air ,

Latest update cant login in after update

Can’t login after latest update keeps asking me to register even though I have an account. I can’t keep any record for anything since this update. Please fix ASAP nearly a month later still on going - I’ve sent number of emails advising uninstall and reinstall, i done this prior to reaching out for assistance to get the bugs sorted out in the app with resolve. It getting quite frustrating. The number provided doesn’t work either have to keep chasing up via email.
