Yousician: Learn & Play Music 4+

The app is excellent and I am learning guitar so quickly and easily which I love. However, I did have some trouble understanding what frets were. I didn't feel that the video explained well enough what they were and where to put your fingers, I didn't understand how they worked for each note and what they did and ended up having to get a relative to show me. Also, maybe you could introduce some theory into it like more learning to read music and what each note is, how frets work etc. Etc. But everything else is brilliant! Keep up the great work!

I download the app and I am very happy with what it offers for singing lessons, I have done so far only the free lessons. The only reason I am not paying for more classes it is because there is a problem with one of the lessons, in little melodies the singing bar trains you to sing in a determined note, but in the middle of the lesson you have to reach a much higher note to complete the same bar you were singing before, it is very frustrating and confusing, I am not sure if it is a problem with the design and this bar was supposed to be higher so they intentionally wanted you to go higher, or if there is a software problem not recognizing your note the same as before (in my opinion this seems more likely). Hope then can fix it, once I know I can count on the support I will be glad to pay, but I am afraid of paying and having problems with other lessons in the future
*edit: I just gave you a very precise description about the problem and you are asking me to contact support? You should be the one forwarding my bug report to your developers, for me your answer is a big red flag

This app was ok, good if you’re a learner of guitar who doesn’t want to bother with learning music theory. If you don’t have money to spend this app bothers you with a 30 second self promotion ad which eats into your 15 minute “practice time”. Each day you only get 15 mins to learn a new skill in this app and practice it with its interactive player which goes with your guitar playing irl. Good I’m theory, bad in practice. It recognizes notes ok for the most part but will miss you for Playing with perfect timing and will give you corrects for playing the wrong notes.
Last of all the game teases you with memorable songs that you can learn in normal lessons behind a paywall and forces you to play yousician song instead.

TL;DR : bad note recognition. Only 15 mins practice time a day and memorable songs behind paywalls.
