Here’s what’s new: Intelligent Surroundings Analysis with Enhanced UI/UX We’ve introduced an intelligent surroundings analyzing system that enhances how you interact with the world through aug. Now, as soon as you turn on the post camera, the app will automatically scan and analyze your surroundings in real-time. Based on the context, aug will suggest relevant and engaging 3D text captions and related floating GIF memes directly in your camera view, making your AR experiences more immersive and contextually aware. Bug Fixes & Performance Enhancements We’ve squashed some minor bugs and optimized the app to improve processing speeds. Your experience with aug will now be smoother and faster than ever. Enhanced Push Notifications We’ve revamped our push notification system to offer more variety, including trending stories and friend suggestions. Plus, post-related notifications now include a thumbnail of the post, so you can get a quick preview right from your notification. New Sticker Memes Tab In the post tab, we’ve added a brand new section dedicated to sticker memes. Now, not only can you use regular GIFs, but you can also choose from a variety of cut-out sticker GIFs, giving you more creative options for your posts. Improved Map Interactions On the main map tab, posts you select will now enlarge and display both text and images (if included), rotating to provide a dynamic and engaging view of content in your area. Enhanced Map Zoom Levels Every zoom level on the map will now show pinned augs, giving you a clearer view of what’s happening around you. We’ve also implemented new internal policies and algorithms to prioritize posts displayed on the map, ensuring that content is well-distributed and not overcrowded in any single spot.
