When I was a wee fourth grader in 2007 I would bolt home after school just to play runescape. I played it for a few years uncontrollably until puberty kicked in and I just played with my 🐔. Many years have passed and seeing this appear on mobile, alongside the fact that I can control myself now made me get back on the saddle. Put some hours in, combat level about 41 now and I dabbled a bit in all skills. It’s the runescape I remembered and loved, but that’s nostalgia talking. When I look in the core mechanics of the game it’s a lot of grinding. But the random encounters are a cool touch to break the monotonous grind. The quests are drawn out by the fact that it’s mostly fetch quests but your character has to walk because he can only run for half a minute, I found myself putting on music or a podcast while playing which helped a lot. Even made phone calls while grinding and that’s a cool bonus for being a mobile game, but being a mobile game also has its issues. The buttons are a bit small on my iPhone 7 screen and you can’t really pick what item you wanna select comfortably. This issue might be resolved in future updates so I’ll leave a 4 outta 5.

Playing this game since release, i was one of the 1k pilots, so it is great!Found few lags tho:1. Game start to lag when chat is on “all” after a while.2. Game lag when chat is open on any type of chat (clan/cc/public etc) and entering bank or switching between bank tabs.3. Game randomly laggs when red clicking or long tapping on some bosses like kreeara, kril, skotizo and more.
