Dreamehome App is to manage Dreame Bot cleaning robots to do your home floor cleaning.
Through the App , you may not only access to advanced functions of your robot for your daily home floor cleaning, but also set up preferred cleaning zones and time as you like. Now you could do your home floor cleaning at your hand with the help of Dreamehome.
Remote Control: You could control and operate the robot like the machine staying with you, once the robot is connected to App. Whether you are outside home or far away from the robot at home, you would locate the robot in the map, adjust the parameters, check out the cleaning schedule etc.
Device Information: With the App, you could explore the full functions of your robot, learn about the working status, get error or task messages, check the usage data of accessories etc.
House Map: A cleaning map of your house will help your robot learn and understand the space of your home. By mapping, you could set up the cleaning task with the right rooms or areas for each cleaning task by Dreame robot.
Cleaning by special area: When only a special small area needs a quick cleaning right away, the function cleaning by special area is exactly the right thing for you.
No-Go Zone: If there is any area not to go for cleaning, a simple frame mark could give you a safe cleaning area.
Cleaning Schedule: Set up the cleaning day and time, even the zones as you preferred so that your robot works at the right time for the right zone.
Firmware OTA: OTA (Over The Air) technology will help you upgrade your robot software to the latest version. You would not miss any update from our continuous improvement and new function release.
Voice control: After you finishing signing up the App and adding your robot, your device may work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant by an connecting operation.
User Manual: You could find the electronic user manual as well as the FAQ for your robot.
Device Sharing: One robot could be controlled among our family members by Device Sharing function via the App.

Bad app, feels like beta release

The application is bad, it's inobvious and many features just absent...Once the robot can't access a room because door is closed, it makes it "forbidden zone" but not in the list of forbidden zones, so there's no way to fix it, but creating a new map for the whole house, and ones you forget the door closed, it starts again.The "pause " feature doesn't stop the task, to allow settings that require finishing the task first. The CleanGenius is bad, it makes the robot do too many unnecessary movements. The liquid detergent isn't added automatically, when set so. The remote control doesn't have reverse movement button. Dreame must improve the application, and the robot software to let normal people use all the features. For the price of Dreame X40 Ultra, the software and the application is really bad. Privacy is bad too, stop collecting so much private data, it's unnecessary for robot work. etc. etc... I don't recommend purchasing any Dreame robots before application and the robot software are fixed, for now it looks like beta version, really annoying.

The UI is both heavy, cumbersome and almost completely un-readable. Size of items is either too big or too small. No reasonable order of things. The editing tools for the Map of the house are cumbersome, painfully slow, inaccurate and break a zillion times.The texts (English) are almost impossible to understand. The notifications are mostly wrong.Several times, when the Robot got confused - it completely messed the house map (replicated it in mirror-image, and connected it to the existing map) from that moment on, it tried to “get to the other side” of some external wall, and spent 3 times the normal time on cleaning (and cleaned much less).The backup was broken too, so each time I needed to delete everything, run “quick house scan” and manually edit the map AGAIN. The app annoys with ads and promotion suggestions ALL THE TIME, without ability to stop this.

The Dreame app is frustrating to use. It’s not intuitive, and it feels buggy in several places.One of the biggest issues is multi-floor support. If you want to create shortcuts for cleaning specific rooms or areas on the second floor, you simply can’t add them. This makes the shortcut feature much less useful for anyone with more than one floor.For such an expensive and advanced robot vacuum, I expected the app experience to be much more polished, flexible, and user-friendly.
