To access BoldVoice, you will be asked to subscribe to one of the subscription options that will be shown to you in the app.
A subscription will unlock all the lessons from accent coaches, practice materials, and features of the app. Without a subscription, you will only be able to access the first lesson for free.
Payment for the subscription will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled 24 hours prior to the end of your current subscription. To cancel your subscription or manage auto-renewal settings, go to your device settings by accessing your Apple ID from the Settings app and choosing Subscriptions.

This is a great app. I really like it. But I don’t like trickery. They charged me for a whole year the day before the trial period ends. I want my money back!

Hi there, please notice that the Apple App Store charges automatically, and sometimes the charge happens in the 24-hour window when the trial is due to convert. This app is not another app. When they say it replace 1-1 coach, they are not lying. Personally I was a bit sceptical about using it because I have a good proficiency and I felt like the only way to sounds native is to immerse myself.Their AI model is top-notch, it has no bugs and can really impress you at showing you interesting insights about your English. I tried similar apps on AppStore, but boldvoice is in a different league.Thank you!

pros:1. i did improve on my θ, ð, ŋ, ɪ, æ after consistent spaced practicecons:1. the lessons in my case ended after 2 months at most, the app now just cycles through them2. the app does not acknowledge modifications that sounds undergo on word linking in sentences3. the ML algo makes a huge lot of mistakes4. the app either could not help me much to learn to pronounce ɾ, or it does not recognize when i pronounce it correctly. ideally, there would be an option to disable this sound at all: i am perfectly comfortable with my [d] and [t]5. the app is very strict about pronouncing “o” as [ɑ], not [ɒ]6. the app does not seem to cover ɜ and ə at all

This is intentional, our program adapts dynamically to your strengths and weaknesses based on your practice. The more you use the app, the more accurately we can tailor your learning path to support lasting improvement. You not completed all the lessons on the App. 2. Your are welcome to send through any concerns you have for word linking so we can look into them for you. 3. Our pronunciation grading system is built in collaboration with speech and language experts, and is continuously being improved. If you have any specific concerns, please reach out to us directly (support@boldvoice.com). We take all reports seriously and our technical team investigates each case thoroughly. 4. The ɾ can be a challenging sound to master. It’s a key feature of American English pronunciation, which is the accent focus of our app. We do have multiple lessons and tips on the ɾ sound. You can find them in the Sound Library, and we also recommend using the "Practice Your Own Text" feature to drill specific words. You can even bookmark words to come back to them later. While we don’t offer an option to disable specific sounds like ɾ. 5. Again here you are welcome to send through any concerns to our team so we can look into them and assist you further. 6. These two vowel sounds are indeed covered in our course. If they haven’t shown up in your lessons yet, it may be because our system hasn’t flagged them as priority areas for improvement based on your recordings. But don’t worry, as you continue practicing, you will encounter lessons focused on these sounds.
