In my opinion, this application is amazing :) first, it gives you the ability to know the name of any song you have ever heard, if you’re in the mall and suddenly an amazing song pops up and you wanna know its name, this is the perfect app for you, it actually helps so much , it solves a problem I had since like forever. In addition, it throws these amazing contests with the best prizes such as the one where you shazam “8 letters” by Why Don’t We so you’d win a fave time with them, which actually is the best contest I’ve heard about and everyone has a chance to win because it requires nothing but the app and the song.In conclusion, Shazam can only be described as the best application ever, and honestly, the verb shazam should be added to the dictionary;)
No good. You can’t buy songs on iTunes

Shazam value has decreased very significantly. I used to be able to buy a song on iTunes after Shazam had identified it. That’s how I build my offline music library. Now this function is unavailable. As such I have nearly stopped using the app. Not a fan anymore.
Control center music recognition won’t save music

Unless I tap the notification after I used my music recognition feature in the control center it won’t save it and the song will be gone. I personally find this extremely disappointing and discomforting as I need to leave what I’m currently doing to wait and press the notification which also opens the Shazam app. What if I use it multiple times? I need to press each notification? What if I need to do something immediately and pressing the notification interrupts my doing? Inconvenient and sadly makes the Shazam music recognition a bad option to use
Shazam is an awesome app but there is only 1 problem

Shazam is a really good app which can help in many scenarios I rated the app 4 stars only because it has one problem, I can’t really Shazam my own phone and when I find a song that I want it’s name and the song is on my phone I have to ask someone who has the app and can Shazam my phone which is pretty annoying ): (Or may be I’m wrong and I can Shazam my own phone???? I have an iPhone 11 plz tell me if I cannn)
