Sad girl
Me-he-he!!!
Hi Netflix, I hope you’ll see this. I heard you wanted to delete the show “Friends” from Netflix, and I wanted to tell you how hard this is going to be for me. This show is my home. This show is everything for me. It always makes me smile even in the hardest times. It helped me when my grandpa died. It helped me when my parents divorced. It helped me when my boyfriend broke up with me. It helped me when I broke my leg. It helped me every time I was sad, angry, depressed, and even when I was happy. The show was always there for me. It always made me feel better. It’s my medicine. And I tried watching other TV shows. I tried Brooklyn 99, I tried Young Sheldon, I tried everything, but nothing made me feel good like Friends made me. This show has no replacement. I can’t describe how hard it is for me. When I heard about it I started to cry and scream in the middle of the class, nobody understood what happened to me, my teacher sent me home and now I’m here crying. If you see this, PLEASE don’t delete Friends from Netflix, don’t make me die inside. Thank you.
Cancelling subscription because of the title on the platform

This message is not a polite suggestion — it’s a furious objection.Your series Testament: The Story of Moses shamelessly uses the term “Palestine” to describe the land during the time of Moses — a term that did not even exist in that era. This is not a “small detail.” This is a gross historical distortion and a deliberate rewriting of reality. The correct historical terms for that period are Canaan and, in later centuries, Judea. “Palestine” was a Roman imperial invention from the 2nd century CE, centuries after the events of Exodus. To insert that word into a Bronze Age context is not just ignorant — it’s intellectually dishonest. For a platform of your size to air a program that parrots anachronistic political language under the guise of “history” is disgraceful. It insults the intelligence of your viewers and disrespects actual historical scholarship. Whether this was sloppy work by your production team or a politically motivated choice, the result is the same: you’re spreading misinformation. If this show aims to tell the story of Moses, then tell it honestly. Don’t twist ancient history to fit modern narratives. This level of inaccuracy demands a public correction and a revision of the series to reflect the real historical terminology — Canaan or Judea, not “Palestine.” Anything less is cowardly whitewashing.
Don’t ever reinstall the app!
al-long-untaken-number
All is well until the app refuses to launch one day for some reason and you have to reinstall it. Happens to the best, but Netflix then won’t let you download some of the titles you’ve downloaded before the crash due to some random “yearly download limit”. You can still watch them online, but you lose the main reason you have an app to begin with - watching stuff online. Don’t update the app or the OS unless you have to, I guess. They could fix this by either not deleting downloads when reinstalling the app (that would mean engineering effort) or by lifting the limits when this happens (support claims they can’t due to license agreements with providers), but it doesn’t seem to be on their priority list.
We’re working on the app experience. You work on what, when and how you watch next. That's just as important.
We want to help you find your next favourite programme. This update’s playback improvements will help make it look even better, too.
