The app doesn’t save the hotels I visited , as a business traveler I often check in to the same hotels so why can’t the app save my past hotels so I won’t have to find the address of those hotels all over again .I also think the app should notify or give the ability to do so if a prefer seat has become vacant , for example if a window seat is available ...
Mishap with change flight via the application

I had a horrible experience while trying to change my return flight via the app. I had already checked in for my flight from Newark to Las Vegas on June 9. While waiting at the gate having already checked in the evening before and with a boarding pass and checked in I decided to update my return flight for June 12. The appears to allow to to select only the return flight to update which I did to change return flight from just before midnight to 9:30pm. However upon boarding my outgoing flight to Vegas, my boarding pass was rejected. I was later told by the counter staff that I had not checked in and this was infuriating as I followed the procedures and had been waiting for hours at the gate. They told me I needed to wait until all passengers board the fully booked flight and see if there is room for me and my spot was no longer guaranteed. Apparently there was a glitch in the system of when I changed my return flight it checked me out of the outgoing flight which was delayed. There wasn’t anything in the app to notify me of the need to check in again and that is not intuitive given that I was already checked in. This was an extremely frustrating user experience and a terrible inconvenience as I risked missing my flight. The horrible outcome of the app experience coupled with the inability of the staff to quickly ease my concern and fix the situation made me question my future preference for flying with United again. I expect to be compensated for this poor customer experience.

I am not a US citizen. App works but each and every time I need to take a picture of my passport and re enter my US Visa. And even if all my details are in the system I still need to add my Milage Plus Number. Pay attention to that, it’s a good way to avoid giving you the miles you could own. This info should be by default set as soon as it is you traveling.

Took me 10 min to scan passport till it got it. Why can’t you just let adding manually ?The phone number is still registered as not valid. No place to change manually
