To hire a bike, simply select it, scan the QR code or enter the bike number - then off you go! You can return the bike at one of our stations or anywhere in the Flexzone. Our app provides you with everything you need at a glance. You can easily find the right return location with the map function or manage your customer account. You can also use the app to redeem vouchers, discover news, give feedback, or contact our customer service.
With your account, you can use nextbikes in over 300 locations throughout Europe including KVB-Rad in Cologne, WienMobil Rad in Vienna, Stadtrad Innsbruck, Styr & Ställ in Götheburg, nextbike Berlin, and many more. You can see whether your city is included using the map function in the app or find all the cities with a nextbike system on our website at www.nextbike.de.
The service is great, but I can't register (on my phone)

Pretty sure the redesign for onboarding broke everything. Please fix it, guys! I had to register from my laptop to activate the service. On the good side - bikes are really nice, much better than Mobike ones.

This is a terrible service, and it’s terrible for two reasons:1. The actual bike problems. Most of the times when I want to unlock a bike, it either just stays locked, says it’s unavailable or finally unlocks only for me to find out the bike is broken in some way. 2. You have to return the bike to specific zones otherwise you get a fine. That’s ok, but what’s not ok is the fact they don’t tell you if you are returning in a fined zone. The map is completely inaccurate and you only find out you got a fine after the fact. What a horrible user experience! Why not stop me before I click “return bike” and tell me “warning: you will get a fine” and then I’ll just return the bike?I hate this.
