I love the idea, this is exactly the type of barrier that can help reduce time spent on social media. in my view something that I think the team needs to focus on is the overall usability of the app. It doesn’t just block reels and suggested posts. It makes the app quite awkward to use in general. It’s way less smooth and pleasant to be on, which perhaps is more of a feature than a bug.

I first heard about this app when they made their first post on instagram a few weeks ago and I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release. I downloaded it 3 days ago and I’m free!When TikTok was banned in the US around a year ago and we lost access for a few hours, I felt actual withdrawal symptoms when I wasn’t able to scroll. So when it came back, I really felt disgusted with it so I ended up deleting it. It was shortly replaced with Instagram reels.These last 3 days have been really tough, and I still feel the urge to keep scrolling but at least finally it’s gone. This app saved me. Thank you for freeing me from this

Using instagram without reels is what I was looking for since reels came on the app. Now I can use all the features of instagram without getting caught up in reels and wasting my precious time. The app also gives helpful reminders ever 7 minutes of using the app. My screen time is way less now. Also many more great details!

Opened the app today and saw I got free lifetime pro for being an early user, thank you so much devs!! 😭 Honestly this app is amazing, it actually blocks reels and shorts without forcing me to delete the whole app so I can still text my friends and use it normally. Best decision ever if you want to stop wasting time scrolling.
