Plus the usual round of performance and reliability improvements.

TRL Active 1.2.28 improves Apple Watch installation, Apple Health setup, subscription handling, new-user workout setup, and voice/text intake reliability. This release also reduces duplicate startup refreshes and includes stability improvements across workouts, meal planning, and dashboards.
1.2.29 9 Jun
What’s New in 1.2.27
TRL/Active now opens with Workouts first, so your plan and next session are easier to find right away.
This update also improves new-user setup, Quick Plan creation, and coach handoff after a plan is built. The app now introduces Workouts, Coach, Progress, Nutrition, and Settings more clearly during onboarding.
Nutrition is smarter too: meal plans can now include daily calorie and protein targets based on your fitness profile, with clearer target summaries inside the Nutrition tab.
We also improved trial and subscription handling, purchase recovery, voice intake reliability, workout-plan loading, local reminders, and diagnostics so the app feels smoother and more dependable from first launch through your first workout.
1.2.27 3 Jun
Improved voice onboarding and workout plan setup.
Push-to-talk is now more reliable during plan creation, including better handling when the app does not hear an answer clearly. Plan setup should feel smoother, with clearer retry behavior and faster guided prompts.
Also includes workout plan loading improvements, voice coach reliability fixes, and general stability updates.

- Added more reliability checks before release builds.
- Fixed several issues that could cause stale workout context, confusing locked screens, or failed workout log updates.
1.2.22 28 May
Coach voice questions now play instantly, with no more waiting for the AI to generate each one. We also improved voice reliability, including rare cases where playback ran at the wrong speed, cut off mid-sentence, or had trouble hearing short answers.
Quick Plan is now easier to use from Home. Build a starter workout plan in under a minute with three simple choices: goal, time, and training style.
New-user setup is smoother, with better workout plan loading and fewer repeated background refreshes during onboarding.
Coach and Kitchen now handle workout and meal plan creation more reliably, including better voice handoffs after meal plan generation.
We also added clearer audio recovery messaging, improved realtime reconnect behavior, and made general reliability improvements across onboarding, hydration, meal planning, diagnostics, and voice flows.
1.2.21 28 May
This update focuses on stability and responsiveness improvements to your AI coaching experience.
Smoother voice conversations — Reduced audio dropouts and stuttering at the end of Saddie's responses
Faster coach mode switching — Eliminated a lag where Saddie would briefly respond in the wrong mode after switching between coaching contexts
More reliable startup — Fixed a race condition that could cause subscription status to load incorrectly on first launch
Improved voice recognition — Better handling of spoken equipment options during onboarding (e.g. "full gym" now reliably recognized)
Bug fixes and performance improvements
1.2.14 19 May
We've been working behind the scenes to make the app faster and more reliable, especially when you first open it.
Fixed an issue where the app was making multiple duplicate requests at startup, which could slow things down or cause your workout plan to load incorrectly
Improved how quickly your today's workout card loads when the app opens
Fixed a bug where your workout coach could take longer than expected to get ready
Added deep links so you can jump directly to your Coach or Kitchen from external sources (like ads or messages)
General performance and stability improvements
1.2.13 16 May
Smoother first-time setup — fixed an issue where the voice coach could go silent during the very first intake conversation. Plus background stability improvements.
1..2.11 12 May
Talk
Voice coaching auto-reconnects through network blips and resumes a paused session in one tap. If iOS turns off your mic mid-session, you get a one-tap shortcut to Settings instead of a silent dead mic. New: when another audio app (Spotify, a phone call, a voice note) is holding your speakers, Saddie now says so directly — "Another audio app is using your speakers" — instead of generic "voice unavailable." Boot-time token fetches no longer duplicate when intake and the home screen race.
Run & Lift
Sessions are saved the instant they start, so a crash or force-quit can't lose your work. Plan loads time out gracefully and serve your cached plan when the network is slow. Trainer-schedule live updates self-heal at boot instead of warning on a first-launch race.
Subscription
Local-currency pricing, faster activation with visible step progress, and clearer Restore Purchases copy that distinguishes wrong-Apple-ID from Family Sharing. Web-bought subscriptions sync to iOS on next launch, paused accounts can resume in one tap, and a heads-up banner appears when 3 days or fewer remain on your trial.
Throughout
Plain-English error copy throughout the app — no more raw status codes, "intake," or "mapper" jargon. HealthKit "no data yet" stops surfacing as an ERROR for new accounts. Cancellation save flow ships end-to-end, with a friendlier first-time path for testers who haven't logged a workout yet.
1.2.10 11 May
What's New in 1.2.8
Bug fixes and performance improvements.
Fixed an issue where Spotify would not connect after being set up previously
Improved reliability of the AI coach voice during sessions
Fixed a rare issue where the app would load workout plans multiple times on startup
Added live pace display to the landscape run screen
Apple Watch stability improvements
General performance improvements and bug fixes
1.2.8 4 May
Coach voice now plays reliably at the start of every session. A bug could cause your coach's audio to stay silenced when reconnecting — that's fixed.
Haptic feedback on the Talk button. The button now responds with a haptic tap even when your session is still warming up, so you always know it registered your press.
Nutrition tab loads faster. Reduced redundant network calls on the Kitchen tab so your meal plan and recipes appear more quickly.
Stability improvements across the board. Fixed a rare issue where the app would fire multiple network requests simultaneously on coach home open, reduced duplicate workout plan fetches, and resolved an edge case where onboarding could trigger twice on first launch.
