Scam!

Booked hotel through agoda, first it was difficult to contact agoda or owner (no authentic contact information was shared any where and it became difficult for us to reach there. Location link shared wasn’t correct, address says Shyam plaza but hotel was in Shyam arcarde, few mins away from shyam plaza. Location link ended at wrong place. Also the hotel was in the name of Hotel Anand but Agoda page shows “Oyo flagship Hotel Bhaskar”.

We reached late in the night, the reception person claimed himself as owner and said we no more accept online booking and we have discontinued subscription from agoda as they don’t pay us. After wasting an hour and after telling him that we have made the payment he still denied that he won’t accept our booking. I had to tell him that I’ll call police if you won’t allow in middle of the night we can’t go anywhere then finally after few back n forth, he agreed. Rooms were not at all clean, bedsheet, Washroom wasn’t clean again (he gave us 1st room that had no lights in washroom n the after requesting him that we won’t b able to use it without light he gave us this untidy room)

agoda should do verification of such property before listing on their page. As a customer, no contact information, incorrect location link and not accepting our booking even after advance payment gave a overall a pathetic experience.

Biggest scam and fraud

So I have been looking for a place for this weekend and while I was checking only found a place which I wanted to book so I went for an option of book now and pay later where are they asked for my card details I had filled my car detail and clicked on book now in Pay Later tab, this redirected me to a page where I need to put an OTP but I was not sure about the date so I cancelled it the means I did not use The OTP even after that my payment has been deducted the booking was confirmed which was a non-refundable booking so accidentally, without any reason I got a booking which was non-refundable even after selecting book now and pay later....this is a kind of scam only and I am definitely going to report it on to the higher authorities as well and when I contacted the customer care they responded that they haven’t transferred the amount to the hotel but It is in their authorisation section only but they can’t cancel the booking they can’t refund my amount because it’s a non-refundable booking they just making us fool by creating some nonsense policies and most important question how can they deduct or the use my card for payment when I am not putting the OTP what is the point of OTP if it is not required for deduction

Horrible team n fake I presume

We had just booked a property with Agoda at Wayanad… the said property doesnot even exist…it’s a fake property with fake photos n owner… team Agoda is well aware of it cause with the booking there was a host attached to the property who informed me that this is the fifth case of fake property in their name with Agoda….it was a fake property for which we paid…. Team is not even ready to refund the amount for the property….The number shared by the team doesnot even exist the hotel is not verified by the team… we with our little one loitered on the streets for around 2 hours in search of the property…. We travelled around 40 kms to visit the “non-existent” property… late at night we had to book another hotel n by Al mighty grace we were lucky enough to get the property at double the rate n travelled 45 kms to reach the other property…
Beware of this site…. Never book through these local sitess….
They were least bothered about our harassment n torture …… horrible people with low sense of humanity m… I could file a case against them for mental torture harassment n listing property without verification plus no customer care support at all… will sue u guys…. Wait n watch
