The perspective of voice over accessibility, Apple TV+ user on an iPhone

content is very good. I have liked everything. I have seen from Apple TV+ with regards to TV shows. However I wish the audio descriptions when selected for one TV show applied globally across the app for every TV show like Netflix because every time and episode changes or a TV show changes I have to go back into that episode language settings and then apply audio description, I wish it was global further more there is a button called video and it only hides the play pause rewind, 10 seconds and fast forward 10 seconds buttons. When I click it in portrait mode in landscape that video button still reads with voiceover, but when clicked it does not hide the play pause, fast forward, 10 seconds and rewind 10 seconds button. and also I wish the UI accessibility was most streamlined with headings and more specific categories rather than the way it is laid out right now to meet. At least it doesn’t make any sense. I mean yes we can filter for sci-fi or fantasy or comedy, but I wish the homepage UI was streamlined a bit more at least for a screen reader user. I do not know how it is like for fully cited users. and my last gripe is about add to next button. Why couldn’t it be save TV show or safe to library or safe to watch later it could have been anything else. Add to next doesn’t make any sense to me. At least maybe this is a personal issue, but maybe that buttons name could be changed One thing that Apple TV+ has done correctly. Though is thank you for having so many languages and specifically audio descriptions for different languages. Netflix does not do this and it drives me. Crazy. Netflix is so inconsistent with when it gives audio descriptions when it gives English audio for anime and the like thank you so much for having not only different language languages but also audio descriptions for each language. Please continue doing that I know this review was detailed and I hope anyone from Apple or the Apple TV+ developer team is reading this. Sorry for being so long winded but this is how I feel about the application. I know these small issues will be fixed and I hope someone is reading this and fixing those bugs.

Finally Apple fixed App crashing on LG OLED TV after months of complaining

I am now absolutely certain that Apple deliberately made this app to crash on all Non-Apple devices like Xbox Series X, LG Oled etc… i have Apple TV in another bedroom where the app runs smooth. Xbox Series X is a superior hardware device and yet it crashes. I had complained to apple several times but they just ignored the complaints by just giving complaint reference. This is the sort of Corporate greed attitude Apple still has. I thought Apple has changed by now after some changes lately in 2021. But i guess some don’t completely change. Please listen to the frustrations of your customers and attempt to fix it unless you deliberately want to force people to buy Apple products. I am not happy at all. UPDATE: The Apple TV+ app now runs smoothly on my LG OLED TV. Apple has finally fixed it after months of complaining. Didn’t use the service for months due to the issue despite paying 1 year subscription upfront. Apple had never admitted that it was the issue with their app like typical Apple. Only class action law suits & persistent fight for justice will only work with this greedy attitude. The subscription is not worth it for just couple of good content. I do not recommend Apple TV+ at all like all their sub standard products lately. The only reason I subscribed was to get Dolby Atmos & Dolby Vision content. Big mistake. Going forward one should just pay one month subscription & finish watching all accumulated TV series content every 6 months. I used to worship this company but it never offered me value in any of their products nor did it respect for supporting the company for over 15 years. I hope Apple as a brand start becoming customer centric and not dictate how to use their substandard poorly designed products.

From last one year I’ve been using this platform for my entertainment, and it never disappoints. Quality content is present. That beats n compete with other platform top shows. 4k HDR - truly helps in immersion of some astonishing moments. Love the interface. I had some hiccups with my LG tv app , where it never stream a single content n loads forever even if I have high speed internet , but that’s corrected with new patches. I’m satisfied n waits eagerly for new shows on Apple tv+ , and surely it is a great package for new comers to apple ecosystem.
