It’s a very intuitive app that serves the purpose well. Easy to setup and easy to use.

Only thing missing is Apple HomeKit Integration of the device and app, would be great if you could add that!!

Thank you for your review. While the HomeKit integration will take time, our public API is now available, that allows you HomeKit integration with platforms like Home Assistant. Please see the developer options in the app for more details.

It seems for every fan I need to install a different app, I was using a fan from 3 years bought a new one recently. New fan is not recognised in old app and old fan is not getting recognised new app. Ended up installing 2 apps now. On top of that Google home is not supported in new app and Alexa is no more supported in old app. We buy a smart appliance for a reason, but if spending all that money to create more overhead than what the point of investing. Please address this issue at the earliest.

There were several challenges to provide backward compatibility for the new and improved technical stack being used for the Smart 2.0 series. However, going ahead all future smart appliances of Atomberg will be compatible with Atomberg Home app. We will ensure that. As for Alexa and Google linking, both the old and new apps work with both the platforms. Just ensure that you enable the 'Atomberg Home' skill/action for the new app, and the 'Smart Life' skill/action for the old app. If you face any difficulties, please send us your contact details at app@atomberg.com. I bought the fans thinking I can connect to tuya/smart life like I had done before. Apparently they have locked the fans to this app now. All my home automations are tied in that app, and they force me to use this app.

This app does not support any smart automations, does not support other appliances that I have, no ecosystem and no good UX.

The UX is a big let down, no shortcuts/widgets support and not friendly to use. The operations are also cumbersome without a quick way to fan switches or to know the status.

Thank you for your review. We have noted down all your concerns, and are working toward them. Automations and quick access options are coming soon in the next few app updates (you can enabled automations using Alexa/Google for now). The UX related suggestions will also be worked on definitely. Please watch this space. We will notify you here when the app update with the modifications required by you is live.

As for support of Smart Life, we have consciously moved to an indigenously developed Made-in-India Smart Platform. In terms of functionality and flexibility, this platform offers a lot of features, including support for analytics, in-app voice command, Bluetooth operation in absence of Wi-Fi, and so on. The device addition process, as you may have noticed, also became a lot smoother. Having said that, the drawbacks you mentioned are fully acknowledged, and will be acted upon soon.
