#blockit is completely free for Facebook blocking and blocking a website, otherwise there are one off in-app purchases to unlock further features (if you like).

These paid features help to keep #blockit alive, and contribute to the hundreds of hours of development work that has gone into building and maintaining #blockit.

Unable to Block Shorts on YT

I've been using this for months now, all of sudden I am starting to see Shorts in my Youtube home feed which used to be blocked by this application, but now it's practically useless for me, thinking about cancelling my subscription

Hi R A A V A N,

YouTube has recently released an update that introduced a new Shorts component. I have updated #blockit to now block this component as well.

If you update to #blockit 4.4.2, the new Shorts component should be blocked!

Unfortunately I cannot tell what YouTube will introduce and when, but I do try to add blocking for new components as soon as I am alerted.
