Play competitive chess with someone who's at a different skill level, no more pulling punches, no more blowouts. Chess Equalizer evens the playing field by limiting which pieces the stronger player can move on each turn. Before each move, it randomly selects a small set of pieces from the stronger player's remaining pieces. They must move one of those, no choosing freely from the whole board. The result: both players play their best chess, and the game stays close. Features - Randomly selects from the stronger player's available pieces each turn - Adjustable piece count to dial difficulty up or down - Optional "any piece" mode for occasional unrestricted moves - Tracks captured pieces so the selection always reflects what's actually on the board - Choose which side (white or black) gets the handicap Chess Equalizer is a companion app, use it alongside a physical chessboard or any digital chess platform. It does not include a chessboard or play chess for you.
