Befoor 3.0 is a big update. It now requires iOS 26. - Real alarms: meetings now ring with the same system alarms as the Clock app. They sound even when your iPhone is on silent or in a Focus, and Befoor no longer has to keep running in the background, which is much easier on your battery. - Three alerts per meeting: 15, 7 and 1 minute before by default, each one adjustable in Settings. - Snooze or stop right from the alarm. This update is all about battery life, without giving up the one thing Befoor promises: your alarm sounds on time even when the phone is locked and the ringer is off. - Alarms now wake the phone only at the moment they need to ring, instead of checking the clock every second all day. - The silent background stream that keeps alarms reliable now uses the lightest audio settings iOS allows. - Notification banners for the same event are tidied up so a single meeting never leaves a stack of stale alerts. - The widget refreshes only when the list of upcoming events actually changes. - Calendar changes that arrive in bursts are handled with a single resync, and your other devices are only updated when the alarm list really changed. - The haptic engine now powers down between alarms. - Apple Watch: the People list only refreshes while it is on screen.
